Not a wise decision. If they nail you again and discover you committed perjury, you'll have bigger problems than tint laws.

Stock tint in GXP is pretty dark. I got another car tinted and don't like it, too dark.

It's a standard set by statute by the legislature.
The only way to fight it is deal with the legislators who write the tint laws.

There are two reasons for these statutes: Extra dark windows are like wearing sunglasses while driving at night. Serious reduction in visibility. That is a legitimate safety issue, for the subject vehicle and all others on the road.

Those laws came about before the more recent tint laws regarding gangstaz, who along with other ne'er-do-wells pose a real threat to cops and civilians alike because of what they do and why they hide what they do.
