OK so I ordered the 3" off road DP from ZZP today. Couple problems...1a member on here pm'd me shortly after with one fs so id rather go that route....2nd they double charged my card for the part once at like 10:05 and again at 10:07 or something like that, anyone know how to cancel an online order? It says status "pending" so it hasnt been shipped yet. And wtf is with charging my card twice has this happened to anyone else???

Who knows...I knocked a 1.8 60' with a stock trans and drag slicks so you can never be sure...but my race trans if full of WIN I know that lol Hey...what about the LS1? I love it and it blows the N* out of the water I say after the basic 3.4" setup you can either do...Cam, Rockers, Intercooler or Meth, and Headers...all up to you though.

And LOL @ the ZZP PCM comment

Also I've heard all about how the ZZP Pcm's suck and everyone says overkill or intense, but nobosy has gone into detail on why or where to order them, who has something to say about them? The good the bad?

Whats dhp? Coulda swore I read somewhere those were really ZZP pcm's...

Been hearin all sorts of stuff but none of the post were too recent, read intense pcms will blow ur motor, overkill dont reply to emails anymore, ZZP pcm's suck, whole slew of different things but nothing too recent other then one that sounds like the guy from overkill went into hiding...

DHP is digital horsepower. 3800performance sells them i think. they are the original PCM guys.

intense PCMs are not bad anymore. they arent as bad as they used to be.

ZZP is very unreliable and their tunes just arent top notch like they should be since they are the leading vendor for us.

never dealt with overkill. a lot of people swear by him, but ive also heard he's pretty slow with response time.

No nonononononononono. DHP is Digital Horsepower. Best Mail Order Tuned PCM for the 3800 Series motor bar none...EVER. Intense used to have transmission and timing issues. ZZP's blows balls in EVERY aspect, and the awesome thing about Overkill is he tunes for your mods specifically...bad thing is your out a car until you get your PCM back.

The reason you are thinking somewhere that DHP is ZZP is the 3800performance.com fiasco. Some say they are selling ZZP PCM's, I've been told they are DHP's. PFYC and 3800Performance were the only 2 sites left that sold DHP PCM's and now that DHP is gone it seemed that 3800Performance is the only site left selling them...lately I have heard that they sell ZZP PCM's...that I am not sure and would e-mail them.

Will has always been a shady character from what I can remember...and by shady I mean not too social...but the man does great tuning. Not sure where Morris is, but finding someone that can tune locally is great and a custom tune will blow everything out of the water.

Morris is near the chicago area, I know of a couple shops around here, but as far as I know they specialize in LS1' LT1's Cobra's and other stangs. Maybe they could do something for me, just not sure how much they'd want, I'm not willing to pay the normal $500-600 for basic bolt on tuning...

Not really, called around to the 3 major speed shops in my area, Speed Inc, who tuned my camaro nobody seemed to be home today, Straightline performance said IF I buy a license for HP tuners they could for $400 same with FLP (Who do a lot of FI applications) they want 450 if I buy the license....be a cold day in hell before I buy the license and pay that much for a few bolt ons, I didnt even have to pay that much when I had the stroker tuned in my Z

So...back to the mail order tunes...Anybody got an email address for this Will guy for overkill??

How much would a ZZP Velocity 72mm TB help me out? Seen one fs I might pick up comes with the tb spacer too (im guessing the spacer is a ploy), besides the 3.4 with supporting mods the only other thing I may consider for now is rockers, so would that help??

Well technically that isn't bad as they can cost up to $600 new. They must not have HP Tuners then. If they did it would only be $50 a credit and you have to have 2 credit per car.

So...just wondering what you're path is mod wise...like which ones are you doing next and so forth...a ported TB is nice but you really don't need one yet. I would say swing for it and buy it but don't install it until you're totally done with your 3.4" plus supporting mod setup. Another thing about a ported TB is they throw your tune off so you'd be needing a custom tune then. I'd be willing to bet there is someone here around the Chi-Town area that knows their way around a HPT or DHP Tuner program to help you out when the time comes
