try using your icm and coils.
also make sure the icm harness ground wire is bolted on. if you took the front valve cover off you took the coil bracket off, that black wire gets bolted to the brackets bolt.
It turns on doesnt rev when i give gas either
When i turn it on the traction alert comes on and makes the car rev harder then it says reduced power starts sputter and turns off the whole time sounding like a harley
I think this is the part where i need someone who actually knows what theyre doing to be here and listen to the problem and diagnose what could solve it. All i know is it sounds like the engine is blown and its unresponsive
you could have a vac leak pcv, evap, map sensor, go over all that, the bottom of th ecoils is a wade plug, it goes to the crank sensor and cam sensor, it has a ground loop that needs to be bolted on.
look at your old engine and find it there, then check the new one.
Its goes on the same lower bolt the icm hooks up to right? If so i could it in right.
if its not bolted on, bolt it any where it reaches to. most of the time its on the bracket bolt.
check your old engine, bolt it on in the same place.
fyi, that harness is worth a few bucks, like $20, ppl are always looking for them, well time to time any ways.
Yeah its in right. I have no clue how to diagnose a vac leak pcv or whatever its called. I had my hopes up way to high on this one.
make sure all the little hoses are on, the fat one near the egr the one off the top to the tb.
take some pics of the engine, all angles and post them, we should see something not right looking.
Ok ill have those in tmrw morning thanks for all the help today everyone.
Here are a couple pics, a few question does anything belong on that threaded bolt head on top of alternator, this small hose near tb is also unmated
I know I need to organize those wires just couldn't find my zipties yesterday.

ok for starters you got the plug wires on backwards, the long straight part goes on the spark plugs, the angle boots on the coils.
swap them around and enjoy your car running.
Oh god this has to be one for the books..
Couldn't find that elbow anywhere. Does it have a specific name? Hope my local parts store has one
