If you have bad enough of a exhaust leak your gonna know it it sounds like your motor is knocking literally at idle. The headers will sound louder in the engine bay then the stock manifolds the gauge of the metal is way thinner on the headers then the cast manifolds.

Yea that's when it's going to show up when your hammering on it

Well I'd hope not lol

your reaching at every turn, its the tune.
wot whats the ltft? you only need like 50% throttle for the ltft to lock in and what ever they are gonna lock in at.
whats the timing reading off the t app when wot?
Ok scotty i trust you and what you say i will deffinately be getting or learning how to tune as soon as i can. I just dont understand how tuning works i guess like how can you tune out kr unless you just pull timing?

theres factors, if the ltft is off lean or rich you add or take away fuel from the maf file. once the trims are at a happy place if you still have kr you pull some timing in the areas that get kr.
your scanning for gear rpm, speed ltft, stft, timing throttle % boost and kr. with all those things you can see where the kr starts and take timing from that rpm range and up if need be.
you just need to read a manual or two, a few times to get a grip on things. for what you need tho its pretty simple to fix.
Ok that makes it a little easier to understand. I guess i just didnt want to invest in a tune because ive been thinking something is wrong with the car itself because everyone thinks its odd im having so much kr on a stock pulley with headers

its the nature of a canned tune. that set up may have worked just fine in someone else car. why a tuner is nice to tailor it to your own cars needs.
and not being able to run 93 is a strike too.
I still say exhaust leak..did you use rtv on all the joints on the headers?
No i did not and ive also been thinking exaust leak i know scotty is right i deffinately need a real tune but i was driving home tonight and distinctly heard a ticking noise i also get slight vibrations when i inch forward at a light (foot still on break) i heard both these are symptoms of a leak

SD headers will more than likely leak without rtv..thus throwing your trims off...even a can tune your trims should coming into line at idle and cruising after a few cycles
Loads of copper rtv at all joints...did you reuse the oem exhaust gaskets or get new ones? Don't use the ones from the kit..they are garbage.
Can i just put it on the end of where the pipes meet so i dont have to take the front header and crossover off or do i need to take it apart and get it deeper in there? I got that cat welded in so theres no leaks in the dp even though that obviously wouldnt cause my issue anyway.
