    I'd rather do the work yourself.

    You learn from trial and error. Start with simple things, such as an intake. Go from there. Start small, work your way up. That's what I did. Never worked on a car before owning my GTP, started with an EBay intake...and it went to a fully built motor a few years down the road.

    And yeah, a few blown engines and mistorqued things here and there. It happens. That's why you only make those mistakes, once

    Agreed. I took autoshop in high school which taught me the basics and basically everything else I learned by reading, then doing it myself. There is a how to for almost everything online now days to help you get through a job, plus places like this to ask questions. All you need are the tools, the space, and the will to do this kinda stuff.

    Same when I had a 97 Grand Am, I know WAY more about working on my car then when I started. Wow you made allot of progress! I hope I can do the same thanks! I love this web site, awesome advice from everyone! Thank you everyone!
