I havent ever really tuned a transmission before yeah ive tuned the lock and unlock speeds, gearing, shift times, etc but i have never played with the forced motor current tables. my question is how do you know what and when to change it. i have both HPtuners and DHP.

turbo car, 450 hp at the wheels, TEP tranny with most of the goodies, 3100 stall. the TC locks and unlocks fine but i have some knock during acceleration from a stop. WOT is fine no issues there just some drivability issues and im not sure where to start. the car is currently running in open loop due to the fact that i run race gas and changing O2's all the time got old. I tune the MAF, PE via Wideband O2 error %. just looking for some direction on the trans.

ive got a zzp trans tune bin, and the all mighty loved by all billboost tranny tune i could send you both.

the zzp one has almost all the tm removed and the line pressure jacked up. bills has a lot of tm left in it. and the line pressures not jacked up like the zzp settings. so you dont kill the tranny.

Pfullen1@gmail.com if you would send them over. i pretty well have the TM and shift settings setup the way i want to protect the clutches at the shift i jsut cant seem to get rid of this light throttle off idle cruise KR figured out and am wondering if it is related to the high stall TC.

You guys still let it lock in 3rd too? Ditched that for a while. Also make it so you don't have to "dig in" into the pedal before it unlocks (most useful when you allow to lock in 3rd and 4th)

with the turbo regal I changed a lot of the downshift tables to make sure that when it up shifted it would not down shift
    the turbo loved the load
I never really use torque converter clutch lock up except in higher speeds in 3rd otherwise it would drone, 4th really f***** with it locked up unless you were doing 75.
but really the turbo car shift tables and settings have almost nothing in common with all of my supercharged Trans folders
the engines want different loads at different rpms there's no way that a one-size-fits-all transfile will work

I'm sure I'm going to need more adjustments than just the shiftable adjustments going to the new 2.93 final drive chain set with the new converter stall

but what if you not on the phone with the guy who put it all together so he can tell you exactly what bin to use?

remember, you said theres one to use, and one not use or boom goes the tranny.

why i just sent them one of my bins with it in there, no guessing for any one.
