highly calibrated engineers.... ill just move my stack of recalls onto this thread....
Keep it going I don't remember a thread this good since the OMGTVS blower thread from Flake..............
http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...ght=efficiency
because some people cant use google..... LOL 22 pages...
It's fun to jot down every time someone said 'that'll never happen' or 'it won't work' or 'you won't make x power' or 'you can't sell that for x$'
And then later in the thread you see how each and every one of the naysayers comments was proven wrong.
Just one of the many successful endeavors I've spearheaded.
only thing wrong with that is your whack math for how much it ACTUALLY cost..........
... and it was troll / trick. Everyone thought you were swapping an m62
really why dont you attempt to explain how "cheap" that was again then?
or explain how it was cheaper than going turbo which now you've ditched the tvs and gone turbo.... hmm i wonder why?
hint because gains vs cost with a turbo is better..
SnowFlake, you have yet to learn that the majority is always right. That's why we have Obama to solve all of our problems. /sarcasm
Seriously though, you did something cool and unique, and some people will always piss on that kind of stuff. Especially little twerps with an armchair QB mentality that are so incapable of building a car, they simply purchase one built by someone else... and then tell everyone it's the best thing since sliced bread in every thread they possibly can.
M62 off a Cobalt SS.
LOL I concur... GF's bone stock low miles 04 GTP had a significant amount of knock on fresh 91 octane fuel. I was forced to tune her car because I didn't think it was good for the motor on the long run to have this much knock every time she went full throttle.
Her car went from running 15.2 @ 89 mph to 14.61 @ 94 mph ! with just a few simple changes within the same hour.
