i thought i saved a dhp bin file specifically for dynoing the gtp but i must had deleted it. anyways anyone can tell/refresh my memory on how to prevent the trans from doing the 3-2 downshift on the dyno please?

IIRC in the 3rd to 2nd shift table to actually lower the throttle % from like 30-100% to like 30mph then when on the dyno when the car shifts into 3rd at cruising throttle past 30mph to like 45mph to gun it 100% and it shouldnt downshift correct? should i also adjust the 2nd to 3rd lower as well or leave that be?

    TIA

IIRC it's in a downshift table based on speed/throttle percent.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

You could alter the 3 to 2 downshift table to values of all 0.. That way you never fall below that value and thus never down shift.

I would say its fairly dangerous to go wot at like 40mph in 3rd... your clutches are going to HATE you for putting big power against the wall that is a 2.92 gear at 40mph...

I would just pull in 3rd, and floor it after you hit ~75mph... You will get plenty of resolution, and in terms of tuning you wont hit any crazy weird wot/full boost cells at 2100rpms.
