Hey guys. So i know this is more of an "appearance section" question but i just wanted as many members to see this as possible. Anyway, i wanted to make sure that no one else in the GP community has a " Project Nightmare" thing goin for their black GP, any year model. Im kind of anal about having the exact same GP theme as someone else, and im especially not too crazy about taking someone's idea and calling it my own if somebody else already has the Nightmare GP. And if this idea isn't taken then im calling dibs!lol. im gonna be getting a black 05 GP with a dark tint job this coming Monday and a dark tinted, black, soon-to-be lowered GP sounds mean as hell, "nightmare" only seems appropriate.....Hopefully getting an Inferno appearance package from PFYC, then it'll be complete.I know that they did a "project Nightmare" with a Rustang on HorsepowerTV but i hate mustangs anyway so pfft

I don't know what you are looking for, but i'm sure there are plenty of kids calling their car project nightmare. I'm sure i've seen it on cardomain. Who cares?-just do it.

I have a black 2000 GTP and I have a 20% tint and I was thinking about tinting the taillights and getting black clear corners and kind of going for the black out look with the car. Honestly though, what does it matter if someone has a car kind of the same as yours? Yours will still be unique because its yours.

well, normally i wouldnt care about what other people have done to their vehicles but this is more of a respect thing towards other members of this forum or the GP community who take pride in having a one of a kind vehicle and spent serious $$$ to make it that way. Having someone else roll into BGPM or elsewhere with the same thing going on kinda defeats the purpose of "one of a kind."i dont know about you guys but having a GP is great, having a one of a kind GP is better. Just my .02, but i see what you guys are saying too. "Yours will still be unique because it's yours." Good point!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. There are a ton of blacked out GPs around. Don't know about your specific year and combo, but I've seen a few threads on it on CGP. As far as the title, I know there is a nytmare over there and he had a black GP, but I don't know what the current one is. Also a Knightmare, but I don't think he is active anymore. I wouldn't worry about it. It's whatever your car says to you and your interpretation of it.

And yes one of a kind is the best feeling.

    True dat.

Do it and don't worry about the haters or copy cats. Its just a name and a theme, anyone will eventually take it and call it their own. And ya...having something new and kinda original to the market is cool.

When I did my car, I just called, and always have referred to the project as my cars rebirth. Now from time to time that always seems to come up in a title after a car is rebuilt from either an accident like mine was, or an engine or tranny failure. I could really careless. I know who was the originator of it, and thats all that matters.

I've always wondered why people feel inclined to name their cars. Guess i just don't get it.

Mine is named, but it's more of a personal affection thing. A female name, and I don't usually go around using it like some sort of coolness badge. Just something in my head for private use.

I never named mine, and I'm with you on why people name them also.

I only named the situation of its rebuild thread to show the progress/process it took.

But I do call my car lots of names, I know for a fact that its a she...
