Pro allows you to log 2-3 things that aren't monitored by the engine w/o sacrificing and running through unhooked wires for other items.
Pro allows you to log w/o a computer in the car. You load your desired parameters on the cable's box and that's all you need in teh car. Keeping the abilty to log and review later w/o leaving a laptop in the car all the time.
So there's no real big difference in both versions except logging without a computer?
If you live in an emissions state I would suggest pro, so you can log a wideband, if not standard will be fine and you can just wire the wideband threw the egr.
Pro, all the way. Black box logging is THE BOMB!!
But is it really worth the extra 150 that I could be putting toward a widebar?
Do you want to delete the EGR to log wideband? Or do you want to keep the egr/ac and just get the pro version to log your wideband and possibly other inputs?
Is there any difference between deleting the egr and just keeping it and getting the pro?
Yes, you still have a functioning EGR system. I would absolutely get the pro version, even if it meant having to save up for an extra couple weeks. Having the ability to log 4 extra sensors (A/D inputs) and having 2 outputs (to control relays and such) is really nice, but the main reason I'd get the pro version is for the black box logging. I had a PowrTuner first, so I know all about having a laptop in the car to log. You can log over 2 hours on the interface using the Pro version, that's worth the $150 alone to me.
I have the standard version, But I log with my Ls1m. Luggin the laptop around to scan BLOWS.
pro is nice, well worth the extra money for me atleast. if your going to tune someone elses car how are you going to use a wideband with the standard version?
