Yes it can, people for "unknown" reasons veer off road and hit trees, or go into caverns, canyons, deep ditches, etc... People do all sorts of stupid things to themselves to allow for natual selection to take its course. Unfortunately alot of the time it also results in the stupid people taking out a innocent by-standard in his/her wake.

For those that happen to relate my statement to "Ryan Dunn" (he came to my mind and I don't want to create an uprising over him) he was a stupid jackass, but he was my FAVORITE stupid jackass, and we will miss him dearly.
