and thus begins another class...
Capt. Crunch is not a Captain, he's a Commander. One scandal after another.
lets not forget Yngwie Malmsteen and eddie vanhalen.
Conflict of interest?
I went to a funeral viewing of a lifelong family friend who passed away a few days ago. I figured I would run into people I haven't seen in awhile and I even saw some people I didn't expect to see.
One was a girl I went to school with. She was two years behind me, and we actually hung out a lot because she was long time friends with my cousin. I was talking to someone when she walked up, smiled and gave me a big hug. All I have to say is DAYUM, she looks better now than she did last time I saw her. We sat there and talked, catching up on old times for awhile.
When she left she gave me another big hug and told me to keep in touch. I think I might just do that.
Made chili tonight. So hot it got me drunk. Nabad.

They are not that bad really. I've gone through multiple external audits and its been good. As long as all of your processes have documentation and that those are followed then you will be good, but there will always something you will need to improve on. We have been 9001:2008 certified for the last 5 years I think and are now looking into our environmental cert too. I don't remember what the numbers are...9001:2004 maybe.
Ugh ISO. I am working on a similar certification for my employer called TUV. Its done every 3 years. The big, no huge, problem is most of the stuff that is supposed to be documented hasn't been documented. I have spent weeks going through things, eliminating redundancy where I can, and filling out 3 years worth of paperwork, and I still am not close to being ready.
The problem we have and always will is the fact that people do not like to change. No matter if a new process is created, they will use the old process and we will get hit with finding when the external auditor comes in. We audit different parts of the plant every month, multiple zones in a month getting ready for our externals. We have 2 a year with one being the recert.
The problem here is no one was ever told this paperwork needed done. When I first started they had just done a recert, and the operations manager was fired a month later. New boss came in and never knew about the paperwork because it was never done right to begin with.
