ive been backing my car into my parking spot for over 2 years now, no one has followed my lead.

ill back in anywhere any any time, except when going food shopping, you need to get to the trunk. why bury it when its right there.

as crazy as it sounds, but this whole backing in deal started by driving pick up trucks, its just easier to back in, then drive away. trucks dont all turn well in tight quarters.

My mom always said that it "was a man's thing" to park backwards.


Or maybe my mom & sister just suck at parking........ yep thats it.

i pull my car into parking spots. our parking lots are sometimes tighter and backing in isnt as easy. but i can back out like a champ

I totally saw or read some study which results were that women brains are wired to be confused by driving backwards, so they take more practice than men. Wish I remembered what it was so I could read it again.

I go to my friends' apartment every Sunday night. I'm the only person out of like 300 that backs into their spot. The property manager sent out a letter to every apartment asking everyone to please not back into spots because fumes come out of the exhaust into the windows. It can't possibly be about me, though, since my car runs right. Amusing all the same.

I remember when I had to back into spots. The reverse idler didn't get set right on one of my cobbled together transmissions in my Stealth, so therefor I had no reverse.

I had to plan things carefully everytime I went somewhere so that I could either pull through, or drift backwards into a spot so I could get out. I got some of the strangest looks. LOL

Saw this beauty on my last delivery. Guy bought it new in 02 very well maintained, almost flawless aside from some minor scratches on the hood from his kids.... might talk to him about buying it.

dood. lol THANKS for the thought. i actually went to the one in the town right close to us and they only had like 3 or 4 stylists whereas we ran 9. and the receptionist job is only needed if the business is big enough. so there was no position. and i figured okay why go into grand rapids and drive 30-45 minutes to work part time at that wage... id be ate up in gas and not make enough to pay bills. only way i'd do it is if i found a full time. which theres only ONE full time position and 9 times out of 10 they aint givin that job up. so yeah... basically it's impossible to do that work and survive. though i'd love it 1000x over.

whereas the marathon im at now. its like 5 minutes up the road and im working full time at the same wage, but i also work my ass off for it. so it's a trade off for sure.
hopefully Dan!! comes through and his family with this paint shop or whatever. full time and they need help. i love michigan, i just need a better job.

my cousin asked if i was comin home i was like hellllll to the no. im a michigander now. i like josh and val and alyssa. good group of folks to live with

i just love backing in cause i can actually use the side mirrors what they are suppose to do... and i'm used to backing up grain trucks and crap that you don't have a back window to look out of anyways...
