If you do a low carb diet the cheese and bacon can stay but everything else has to go. Coffee can stay depending what's in it.

Run is up to 5 miles. Down... 1 pound. Think my lungs are playing catch-up.
186 this morning. doing a lot of exercise .. feeling good.
Using MyFitnessPal to track calories and wow.. I'm rockin.
According to this, I'm eating around 1500 calories a day. That can't be right. Oh, and I eat 118g protein a day. Which sounds like a lot to me (34 over "goal")
Just did the exercise calculator... So, if I eat 1500 calories, and I exercise 1000 off... I'm on a 500 calorie diet? O_o
Myfitness pal: 936 cal
Dailymile: 779 cal
Difference: 157, or 31 calories/mile
And it says that with my otherwise sedentary lifestyle/size, I'm burning 2750 calories/day by breathing and typing. 1500 - 2750 - 1000 = -(2250) wtf?
Weighed in this morning at 267.9lbs 27lbs off my goal for the summer, and 47lbs off from my over all goal. Definitely feels within reach now.
Slow..uh what?
I put down reasonably active. And it put me on 1570 calories a day as a goal. My typical day will come in right around there if I eat very reasonably and watch things along with exercise. I typically have a 350-500 calorie breakfast, 300-500 lunch and a decent dinner of 700-800. If I exercise 1000 calories, then I'd have about 500 to spare per day. Keeping in mind the average person is expected to eat about 2000 calories a day to maintain.
Using this as a guide, to help me see what I am doing.
Today Atkins bar 160 calories for breakfast, might have another as a snack soon. Then a lunch of fajita steak meat with onions and peppers, That's probably 500 calories.
Was at 182-183 the last couple days.
I weighed 225 about 3 weeks ago and decided to start eating better and just 1 week of dieting and no exercise I lose around 5lbs. Now that I've been running a mile every night I'm down to 210 in 3 weeks total, but thanks to my wreck, I'll be taking this week off from running. :(
As of Tuesday I'm at 262.4lbs. Getting close to the original goal of 240lbs. I'm thinking that's not enough and am shooting for a final weight of right around 220lbs. I don't want to be fat but I don't want to be small either. Here's a quick side by side from December 22nd to May 27th.

Damn son, you're doin' work! 220's pretty awesome - I was always happiest around 215-220. As things are, you'll be quickly passing me and putting me to shame! Good stuff.
I was looking to update my stuff as well.
May 5th was 186lbs.. today was 177lbs. Taking it off pretty slow and havent gotten to the gym lately. But I suppose engine and trans swaps are exercise. :D
I think I might shoot for 170 and hold there.
Another week another 4.5 lbs. Officially in the 250's now. Weigh 257.7lbs as of this morning. My initial goal is 17lbs away, but my newer goal of 220 is now 37lbs away.
Need exercise and no time to hit the gym. I've started turning my workplace into a workout.
I'm 7 flights up. You know it.

honestly...im trying to gain weight...i mean, im 16 years old, 145 lbs, 5' 11.999999999" and its just not workin lol...i dont wanna gain fat, need to burn some of that off...
im currently training for cross country (yes, a high school activity) im only running 1 1/2 miles a day right now, mostly because i havnt actually ran in over 2 years, and by the end of the summer i hope to work up to 4-5 miles a day...or more...kinda scary...
As a fattycakes, I was surprised how short a time it took to get to 5 miles. I started off on mile runs, was at two miles within a week and a half, three miles within like 3 weeks, and 5 miles in under 2 months. Mind you, those were 12-minute miles. But I ran them. I still don't think running is fun like my running buddies do, but it's not bad for what it is.
lol...im talking more in the range of 6-7 minute miles...at the most...
first month ill probably do 7 minute miles, work up to 3 miles in the first month...
second month ill go into the 6 minute miles and then up to 5 miles...
oh the joy to be able to say you can run 5 miles in a half hour...
just kidding, it will be worth it when i get there
running is stupid. i used to run when i played soccer. now i dont run anymore because its dumb.
i run a mile on the treadmill at the gym to warm up before i lift weights. that's about it.
If youre trying to loose weight doing 15 min cardio before working out and 45 minutes after ur done pushing weight will do wonders.
However, if youre trying to gain weight, do only a warm up run. Otherwise it hurts you more than it helps.
looks like im trying to gain weight...i guess...
