For those of us being held hostage by a drinking problem:

You dont get injured?
Thats a negative.
Every one can get hurt in someway.
I played football for a Divison 1A High School in the OK Red Conference, biggest conference in MI. I broke my neck by tackling too high, get lit up by a Full Ride Div 1 Running back. Then i also dislocated my hip in football also, my right hip joint came out my right butt cheek. Worst pain in the world. Then i had to walk on it and have surgery on it.
Well injured via sports. Haha
SlowNA, question for you. Whats your insight on these products:
Animal M-Stak: Suppose to help plateau? "Hardgainers syndrome"
Animal PM: Better Recovery
Animal Cuts: Fat loss
C4: Pre-work, What i use at the moment. Just wondering your opinion.
SizeOn: You already gave me some insight on this, basically its Monohydrate.
Just to top it off: I take Opti-Men multivitamin and Fish Oil.
Im personally thinking about trying some of those "Animal" products. Ive researched on them, whats your opinions?
Dan I might not know alot about grand prixs but you know me when it comes to fitness
Your taking good stuff but get a different pre workout like jack3d micro and take test powder during workouts to have good gains the multivitamins are great same with the fish oil get something with amino acids so your not so sore the next day so you can kill it again the next day also don't do a sh*t ton of reps unles you wanna get cut and Build a lil muscle do heavy weights and low and slow reps
Your correct on the BCAA's. But with SizeOn the BCAA's are including so there is no need to get that supplement.
As for test boosters, thats something that im trying to avoid. At a young age like me, its not worth it.
Fish oil is useful in extreme amounts. I didn't find a useful dose until I took 6 capsules at a time. It helped me with knee joint pain.
C4/Jack3d/whatever is 99% caffeine. They taste bad, they're expensive, and I have such a high threshold for stimulant effect that the price/dose is retarded. Caffeine pills are really, really cheap.
I take Animal Paks as something of a super multivitamin, never looked into the other Animal products, so I'll have to get back to you on those. Currently, I've never heard anyone worth listening to push any of their products except Animal Pak. Actually, I've never even heard of insignificant people pushing their other products. Gimme a couple days to research. My guess is that they won't be worthwhile, would be nice to be proven wrong, though.
Edit: Almost forgot about the beta alanine. That stuff is decent, but buy it separate... no need to use jack3d. It's cheap, too. I found a slight benefit to it, but not enough to like getting that 20 minute prickly skin flush (harmless, but uncomfortable) from it.
Went to the gym today, and now I'm about to eat me some Christmas dinner.
Gotta love trying to gain weight. :-)
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3
The new jack3d micro works great
They quit making the regular jack3d sucks I think. didn't last 15mins and about 45 mins off taking it you get the winderful jack3d crash which f*cking sucks
The old jack3d sucked couldn't stand using it tried 2 tubs and was very disappointed wasn't worth the 15 mins pump and few hours of jitter and itchy skin. Ill have to try the new stuff if I ever get the chance.
I pulled the trigger on all those supplements i listed above.
$160 worth.
Changing my whole routine to what i listed earlier in this thread. Hopefully this will break my plateau and ill be back on track.
I need to get back in the gym and back on some supplements lost quite a bit of weight over the last few months not eating enough. Let us know how it goes.
I gained 5lbs this holiday :( I need to get back on the horse again too. Today i'm eating subway!
If you guys are digging into pre-workouts daily because you need the pep, I'd suggest maybe checking into your sleep schedule. And... you know, eat some food. That isn't to say they don't help a little - I know strong people that use them, and they're great for days everyone has when you're just dragging ass - but if you cats aren't sleeping well enough to put forth effort in the gym, you're not sleeping well enough for your body to repair itself and get stronger.
The best part? Sleep doesn't cost a darn penny. It's free.

Sleeping is huge, i know.
I use a pre-workout because it does get me "kick started" for sure. C4 has worked great for me.
Lately i havent been getting the sleep i want because ive been working 5am everyday but soon ill be switching back to 2nd shift were i can sleep as long as my body needs.
Started my new routine this week for Muscle Confusion. Starting the new supplements on Monday. Will proceed like so:
Wake up eat breakfast, protein shake, animal-cuts, multivitamin with fish oil then go to work.
Get home from work at noon, take another animal-cuts pack.
Around 3, take Animal M-Stak 45 minutes before workout, remove "red caffeine" pill. Take C4 15 minutes prior to lifting, drink "SizeOn" while i lift, follow the workout with more Whey Protein.
30 minutes before bed, take another last multivitamin with fish oil (Opti-Men multi. Says take 3 day, but ill stick with 2) and take Animal-PM for better recovery.
Repeat.
Edit: I also play basketball everyday at the gym. Pick up games for roughly an hour. I use that as my Cardio.
Since SizeOn is expensive, and to conserve it, i bought another bottle of just Monohydrate which i will take on my off days since your muscles need to be saturated in Creatine.
Muscle Confusin?
Muscle Confusion.
I fixed it, just a typing error.
Im sure you know what that is as you know what your talking about when it comes to weight lifting.
The way i learned it with Muscle Confusion: You lift weights, your body is "shocked" its self defense is to "get bigger" by tearing and re-healing. After staying on the same routine for awhile, your body gets used to it and you dont see good gains.
So you switch up the routine, your body is "shocked" once again and the gains continue and so on.
I also learned not to workout complimentary muscles at the same time, like Chest and triceps or back and biceps. Why?
Because when you lift your feeling 100%. When you do your chest workout your chest muscles are now at ~60% of their capability and since triceps are "complimentary" to your chest they are now ~75% of their full potential. Get it?
Correct me if im wrong. Just what i read, but shortened up.
