When I start holding water my ankles swell and my sock leave painful indentations.
FRS for a boost, I am am pretty worn out by the time I hit the gym. I've tried Thermogenics, 5 hour energy, low carb monster.. the thermogenics work well but I soak through my shirt.
If you don't do this every time you're at the gym, there's a good chance you're doing it wrong. Some of us are just sweaty, though. I sweat hard half way through my warm-up without thermogenics. Shirt's usually soaked and weighing 10lbs half way through my workout.
Always soak my shirt.. about halfway through workout. If you are dead tired heading to the gym, there might be something wrong.
Got a plan.. my tonsils swelled and are draining me. I'm going to do my best to have them taken out. The week or so that you can't eat, should give me a jumpstart on the 20 lbs I'd like to lose
It's more of an "ugh where is my couch" type of feeling. Lack of motivation I guess. I still push myself to go every day and about 5-10 minutes into cardio warm up I breakthrough that barrier.
A day at the gym its normal for for me to come out sweaty but not to the point of my clothes being stuck to me
Jump on a Precor 100i say resistance of 6 about 108 strides per minute for an hour. Lemme know how that shirt is after that.
I never sweat lifting weights and I push mys elf hard. I went from curling 25's to curling 40's in a little over a month
Cleans>curls. Wouldn't know what I curl. Nothing wrong with cardio, except that most people do boring/harmful stuff, like elipticals. "Fun" cardio: Move a stack of 5 45lb plates from one side of the gym to the other as fast as you can 10 times.
ya its not bad considering im a hard gainer..was 126 in high school now around 155-160 3 years later. love lifting its a hobby now.
That sounds like it could kill your lower back
I was just gonna chime in and say ya cleans are very stressful on your lower back as well as squatting, deadlifting etc... I wouldn't recomend cleans unless you have absolutely perfect form and know what your doing.
That's $5000 and does everything the ground does, which is free. I'm confused. :th_tongue2:
Not if you keep good form. I've actually got a back back/hip (not from lifting) and I overhead the 45lb plates to center the weight, but everyone else I've seen do stack moves just hold them at the waist.
I wouldn't recommend doing much of anything unless you know what you're doing. Youtube can teach you how to lift. The golden rule of lifting is to keep the lower back arched and head neutral (not looking at floor or ceiling (unless bench pressing)) with the knees pointed over the feet. If you can manage that simple feat, you can do everything without injury. The rest is refinement by experience and experiment on natural motions.

GNC charges about twice as much as anyone else for anything, though they will price match. I wouldn't bother with straight protein powder, I use shake. Optimum Nutrtition Gold Standard is $50/5lbs at allstarhealth.com.
The cheapest Tonalin CLA I've been able to find is at swansonsvitamins.com. Every thread in every forum on the topic recommends that you get the patented Tonalin variety instead of something else, and swanson's is almost the price of the stuff that might not work.
I get my caffiene pills from Walmart. Generic brand. Never bothered trying to find a lower price since I only really use them when I need to be awake for days on end and Walmart is cheap enough.
Swanson might be your cheapest green tea, too. I'd start there for chromium, as well. That's the cheapest place I know of for pills of any kind. It's a good idea to also check out amazon.com, since there's a lot of great deals there.
