roger from emblempros.com really top notch, took under 2 weeks to talk about what I want, drew it out, I approved and boom made and shipped. $105 for the pair
pcm came. funny how you send it to one company, and different one sends it back.
I dont know how to make fit the pcm and air filter together, so right now the pcm is sitting on top of the radiator hose......
Only played with it in the driveway, 3 psi max and thats in drive foot on brake and pedal to the floor. After a few seconds you can hear it start to spool, let off gas the bov makes some sound then Im hearing the surge.. maybe wastegate hooked up wrong I dunno. Gotta do some research.
Car still pulls a 18inhg warmed up at idle btw. Also fuel gauge now read zero, thanks pcm thanks.
By looking at the filter you have in previous pics I'll tell you right now you won't fit it on with the pcm laying where it does.
You need to buy a straight round filter(cylinder type) the tapered one you have wont fit.
Go listen to some youtube clips of cars with CT kit similar to yours, the monza BOV that comes stock with the kit does sound like it surges in comparison to alot of more expensive blow off valves.
fun does this car sound normal, or does it have a boost issue? I cant take it onto the street until late tmw. I have no clue when I should expect to see boost or not.
Sounds about the same as when I did the same thing in my driveway
Wanna do my car next Hurtz?

Dan ya, I researched a bit online and it seems thats a normal thing for a turbo when it has no load. Gotta get a different air filter today so it fits with the pcm then its going on the road.
haha dino, working on cars I have a problem I dont do it in one day, I guess thats a side effect of having other wheels to get me around puts me in no rush. You would have to sleep with me for a few days until it was done![]()
Made it work, 45° cut 3" shorter

3psi max, turbo starts to be heard about 2700rpm. Can hear bov, not loud but its there. hmmmm
Your vauge description of "Sleeping with me" has me concerned lmao. Diggin the turbo tho.

I dont see any visual problems.
bov makes noise check. hear turbo spool one point or another check.
No exhaust leaks, pretty quiet in the bay.
Detect no messed up couplers, all pipes are clamped down hard.
I even took apart the bov for giggles.
I dont see the vac source being a problem? Top nipple w/mbc is tied into the top of the blower where the BBV used to be, bottom nipple is tee'd off from the LIM line that also splits into the boost gauge. BOV runs on the same line but comes from the fpr. Id hate to have to mess with the wg is that tiny spot, not really sure how to test that yet.
So right now I am slow, gtp 10psi gtpt 3psi ftl! But hey it runs ha.
Oh ya, I have also taken both lines, and just the bottom line off the wg and nothing changes.
Fixed it. Dont ask
MBC might be set a tad high, only saw 15psi (canned tune was told to be set for 12 for a starting point) and havent gone wot yet(close to it). Aero says 0 kr, I hope its reading the right thing haha.
3800's, which from the package ZZP trans tune is way better than overkills, actually feels like a normal car again.
My thoughts:
For one those 1/0 wires that starter spins smooth as silk with very little effort.
Turbo made my flowtech afterburners mellow as hell
Defiantly a loss in low end vs the 3.4, but that doesnt last long. Nice increase of power in the mid range, huge increase from mid to redline.
All in all? This will be fun once I play with it a tad more, test it and get it to where it should be without having to worry about staring at the gauges ever 2 seconds. Thats probably it performance wise, no plans now or in the near future to do anything else. In the future future maybe.
Now its exteriors turn to get loved, in time.
