Wow what a fu*king pain that was. Ended up getting only 3 done. Started at 11-1130 n stopped at about 6. Strut was pretty easy to get off and then the sway bar links on every one was a bit*h. Broke the first one tightening it too much after I finally got it off, good on the second, sawed off the 3rd cuz it wouldn't come off lol. So looks like ill be replacing them. I'd rather put new links on then pay 350 to get them installed. They need to settle a lot more. I have pics of measurements before and in a few days, after I get the last one done tomorrow, ill post up measurements to see how much it dropped. I think it looks better now, and did not think it would be that much of a hassle! Oh yeah, it's been sleeting/raining all day too! Fml
    Snapped from tightening too much

    Who cares if its raining

Finally! Still need to do the passenger rear but here's pics for now

sorry they're a little blurry the rain messes up the focus in the camera lol. But I'd like to thank redcompg for all the help! Lol I was bothering him for a few with some questions n he helped me a lot. Thank god for the forums or I'd be lost.

It would just keep spinning, then id use a vice n couldn't get it tight because of the boot. So my brother said use a torch n I kept trying n no luck.

Hope this isn't a indication on how your header install will go lol. Really wish I was by the car then I could throw some other suggestions out.

Yeah bro I already thought about that, ima prob have to wait for my brother or dad to help me or something. I mean im assuming their a lot harder than what I just did. I think everything was fine and woulda been done a lot faster if I didnt have an issue with the links. That was the only thing that I had a problem with.

Good lookin...once you get that other one on it will drop more, I did the same thing and was like hmm? But when that last back one went on it was bingo!!
It sucks about the links. Did you use a 15mm wrench behind to hold it from spinning?

On my 04 I used the 15mm behind it, damn that blows...one simple step throws the wrench in it. What did you go with for links?

I haven't gotten any yet. I ziptied it for now n sawed off the rear. Ill pick some up soon. What should I pick up? Is it worth it to go for moog? It doesnt seem like it really matters seeing as you can drive without them lol. But I could be wrong

Moogs ,just because...they seem to be beefier and have the grease cert..few dollars more but a better product..

Go figure GM wouldn't be consistent on something as simple as that. Sounds like you got the cussin links on 06. I'ld be pissed and attack with a sawzall.

Yeah they look even for the most part so far but only time will tell. Im gonna finish the ladt one tomorrow. I think they were different drop size in front. The other side seemed lower but maybe because I didnt do the back yet..idk hard to say untill its all done on all four sides I guess.
