I'm about to give up trying to solve my charging system failure light.

What about that dumb clamp thing on the negative cable?
Replaced twice with updated part number. I'm starting to think it's my BCM

Do what? Care to explain.

Remove control module...throw it across shop/garage/yard/maternity ward/etc. and reinstall.
Nope I'm about to. Everything in my setup is all new. Alternator is a high output (150amp) all new wiring. Two good 800cca batteries. I dunno what else to replace. I've had the problem for as long as I've owned the car.

I know. It's killing me. I've done tons of research on this problem. Did all of GMs tests and replaced everything. I know half the regulator is in the alternator and other half is the bcm. I wanna fix this before the new engine build is ready to drop in. Ran all new Wiring last night. Not done completely yet but it's hooked up. Car started so much better than ever so it can't be wiring anymore.

BTW I talked to a dealer and they said 105 bucks to diagnose. They'll do exactly what I did. Pull up repair manual and follow diagnosis steps. Same ones I used

Kissing you off.
Filter I'm assuming u mean the current sensor? If so it's impossible to bypass that with how it works and it's function. I am relocating it though.
