Did you ever swap to a gtp pcm? If not I don't suggest it unless you want to deal with the potential bcm prkblrms .
What would you recommend I do?
Can the stock L36 intrigue bin work? I was going to tune using a regal bin in HPT.

The Good: As of today, the car is completely all back together. As far as how everything came out under the hood, I'm pretty happy with it. I have a few more things that I'll be doing to clean up the engine bay but here are some pictures to show how it looks.

The Bad: The car does not run since Bill and I are trying to figure out which L67 PCM file to use and flash the car with. Since I have a 98' Intrigue, HPT does not support it. But, even though I can use DHP, its an L36 file. Since I have the supercharged MAP sensor and BBV, I need to start with an L67 bin file. Can't get it to work though. For some reason we were having a hard time just using DHP to write over an existing 99 GP GT PCM but once that was finally fixed, we flashed a stock 2000 regal file onto it using DHP. Then, since Bill has the 2000 regal wide open on HPT, I created a 2000 Regal GS file and copied over the appropriate MAF, injector tables, torque management, and transmission settings. Once we flashed it in HPT, we then tried to start the car with it and didn't work. Since my security light was on and would not turn off on the dash, i thought that the theft deterrent system had to be reset so I performed the security relearn procedure. That didn't work since the security light never turned off after the 10 minutes. So, upon further investigation, we noticed that the shift indicator on the dash was not lighting up when changing gears. Its almost like the car is not getting a signal from the transmission. Next step is to flash a 1998 regal gs file using dhp and see if the car likes it. We were thinking that a newer bin file (from a 2000) may not be the same as 1998. Hopefully that'll work. If anyone else can offer any help it would be appreciated otherwise we'll be just trying different things until we can get the car running.

I know you already have the sensors...but how come you don't want to run this like a top swap setup for the PCM?

I thought I said to use the stock file?

Just because you "already have a 2bar map" doesnt make chasing down problems for weeks worth not changing it out... I mean you have to have a map sensor laying around... GM made the same one in 1 bar for at least 15 years with that same connector. As far as the BBV goes, the intrigue will not communicate with the BCM for traction control anyway... If you REALLY REALLY wanted to figure out how to make it work then go for it, but I couldnt even suggest how you could get that thing to have boost referenced traction control.

Also, you cant put a 00 file on a 98 pcm... See my compatibility chart for reference (note the interchange at the bottom).

Trigger is in the garage, running for the past 10 minutes. Max is burping the coolant system, topping off the trans fluid. It's purring like a huge, loud cat. Say a 3500 lb cat.

I think you'll see an exhaust swap coming up. Pretty sure the current one will loosen the fillings in his teeth quickly.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Per your advice of using my stock intrigue file as a base, i read it, copied over my tables in DHP for MAF, injectors, and transmission settings. I flashed it using the proper VIN number and voila, it worked. I looked at the link you provided and verified that both my original PCM and spare PCM had the correct number. Now that I have a base file in the car that its happy with, I can start tuning. Mind you I've tuned plenty in HPT, this will be my first full tune in DHP. Is it best to use Tiny Tuner to say I have a supercharger present and/or is it recommended that I use that tool to make any additional adjustments? I appreciate your help thus far. I have table modifier, uv scanner, etc but wanted to get your opinion on how I should tune. I already have the wideband installed and wiring ready for me to hook up inside the cabin. Thanks again

You shouldnt have any major adjustments to do overall... I prefer to run in openloop with more radical cars but if you dont have problems with wild fuel trims it should be fine.

My tuning suggestions are always the same... Watch your trims/wideband and get a general idea for how the car is running... add or subtract it from the injector table, then tweak the maf table accordingly. I usually suggest to primarily use PE for tuning WOT at first and adjusting the maf only if its really far off.

As I said before... the "tuning" is the same if you use hpt or dhp.. if you are afraid of DHP's scary interface, use HPT to write everything up in the maf, then just export it into dhp and flash away.

Okay cool, sounds like a good plan then. I spoke with HPTuners last December 2011 about adding the intrigue to the HPT software. Even though I don't have the ability to write, they gave me the ability to open up the .bin file in HPT now. So scanning in HPT makes sense since I could easily adjust the MAF table in Editor, then export the MAF table to DHP. I feel a lot better now about the situation.

I know you said I shouldn't need to do anything in Tiny Tuner but from what I saw in the club gp thread (skimmed through it all last night), it looked like Tiny Tuner has the ability to call out for a supercharger, engine type, and supercharged MAP sensor, correct? I saw in the 1st or 2nd page dezldave mentioned the Tiny Tuner program having the ability to do so. I think the only real guidance/help I'm curious to learn and understand more about is what has to be done to edit my L36 intrigue .bin file in Tiny Tuner (adding or filling in additional tables, etc) to make it similar to a standard L67 file.

Plan is to flash and tune once I get out of work tonight

You do not want to use tinytuner for anything. The "supercharged' option is only to enable traction control, and even then its a massive crap shoot. The map is always going to be 1bar, no way around it (it doesnt matter anyway).

PE is your biggest "make it like a supercharged car" area, the rest is pretty basic stuff.
