Okay so heres the project I did. I ordered a set of CCFL Halos for a Buick Lacrosse and the smaller one fit perfectly in the headlight and then the bigger one fit nicely in the foglight. I then put the leds in the headlights as well. The headlights were easy enough to get apart. Simple baking in the oven worked. However the foglights didnt come apart after baking so I took a hacksaw to them and got them opened up and put the rings in. It took a lot of drilling small holes in just the right spot so I could use small wire to hold them securely in place. Also had to drill holes to get the wires out. Took lots of RTV to cover the holes and such to prevent moisture from entering. The lights are wired so they shut off with the car so I dont have to worry about a dead battery. But anyway, heres the finished project!

Heres where I tapped into for power.

Three switches that I installed to control the lights. From left to right they are: Halo Rings in fog lights, Halo Rings in head lights, and LED strips in head lights.

Heres the different ways I can run it down the road.

This is light output with all halos and leds on.

AND heres the most recent pic of the car with LEDs on.

The picture of the output may be a little misleading but they are pretty close to that. And the if figured since i was going to have it open why not put the LEDs in. lol. I rarely even have the LEDs on. The rings are on all the time pretty much. lol.

I went and picked these up from a memeber on here on Friday. Will probably be running them as summer wheels only so I probably wont get a picture with them on for a while.

The paint looks amazing on your car. Mine has never had that much depth. It probably could if I put the effort in, but I'm too lazy.

The Leds in the lights remind me of the new 300's. Just a little bit though...

I also read through that whole seafoam thread and some people talk about how it works better to put it through the booster vac line on the SC cars even though you run the risk of stripping off the coating on the rotors. If thats the case couldnt you just take the charger off and remove the coating yourself? I thought I read somewhere that it makes it more efficient but in turn makes higher temps inside the blower. Also think I read where someone said that even if some coating comes off the rotors it will just burn up in your motor anyway. Anyone found a good definite way for our cars? Just bringing this up because the OP talked about seafoam.

Not sure on how soon I will get tires for these. I already have to buy a set of tires for the Torque Stars so the set I get for these will probably be a used set. I did jack it up and put one wheel on if anybody is interested in seeing that. And yea I want to do some sort of tint but have been dragging my feet (obviously) because I dont know how strict they are around these parts. lol. And honestly I dont know what the deal is with the paint. I think its because I claybarred it and then put 2 coats of different waxes on it that made it look like that. My grandpa came out one day and is like "Do you wash your car everyday?" and Im like I havent washed it in over a week. haha. Seems to take care of itself.

Go to the local PD and ask what the regulation is for tint. They will tell you, then you go a smidge darker and they will never know lol

I spose I could. I do know where that is. haha. I know state wise its like 50% max on the fronts and 35% on the rears. Dont think it would be different but I could check.

you need to put the wheels on.

Tint, is a must. You typically wont get pulled over for tint anyways. i pass so many cops and i have 15% in the front and 5% in the back with 5% visor.

You can get away with darker than whats legal

if you got pulled over for speeding then they would prolly get you for tint but they wont pull you over just for the tint
