have you ever tried to peel any of it off
Yea. I did 4 coats i think and you can peel it off quite easily but it holds up great on its own.
im gonna do my wheels first and see how it goes i dont think the spoiler and molding would look good on my white gp well not as good as it does on yours
Thats a good place to start.
First things i plastidipped were the front and rear facias and mirrors, then i did the moldings and spoiler, then i decided i wanted to do the wheels, and then i added the plasti dip around the bottom and this is how it sits today. That was all spread out over about 3 months or so. I just tweak the way it looks for something a little bit different when i feel the look is gettin old. lol

personally i liked it the way it looks in your signature better
Yeah I think i do too. I did a poopy job with the plasti dipped fender stripes so i ended up peeling them off. There wasnt really a good way that i like to have the plasti dip go around onto the back of the car so the black is now an inch or so above the rear facia and i dont like it but i coulddnt think of anything better to do with it. Plus i think the black goind around the bottom makes it look like the buick regal even more so. lol
i got some fender hashes actually i got them from house of graphx and they made custom ones for me flat black with a red outline they look really good except i had to put them over my pinstripe
eh i think you went too far imho. moldings are fugly, spoiler looks lame, bottom part could fly. but at least youre trying.
i give him credit for tryin something different
I got tired of friends always texting me and being like "hey i just saw you driving!" and then id always respond, "I drive a mass produced family sedan. Nice try but im sitting at home right now" lol. And now i dont get those texts anymore except once in a while when someone actually does see me. haha. Plus i just wanted something a lil different than the usual.
haha. Thanks man.
i never ever saw another white coupe gtp till i got mine now i see them all the time and i try to distinguish myself from them

^How-to thread is gone and I probably need to make a new one so we can sticky it, was lost when the site was updated.
However, you did it wrong.Just like saying that. The "gasket material stuff" is cool and all, but really no maTter how you do it, it will trap stuff and can potentially ruin your deck lid. The best way, and it works, I have pics if you want from when I did it to mine. Is to get the little O-rings from Home-Depot, Lowes, Walmart, etc... for your water hose... It is just thick enough to raise the spoiler a bit and give clearance, but 1 per bolt hole and torque'd a little and it will seal and never leak. No more tape to block anything, it stands up and flows well.
Well I finally wired up everything and it all works great! There are 3 seperate switches that I used so I can control the halos in the headlights, halos in the foglights, and led strips in the headlights. Took a while to wire everything but its all good now. Will have more pics later just didnt really have time to get any great ones yet.

More pictures. Looks pretty good though
Would have posted more pics tonight. Actually went out to find some cool spots to take pics and I got to one and my camera wasnt in my car. Im home visiting my parents and must have left it at my place about an hour away. lol. Ill get you more pics probly tuesday or wednesday.
Output is better than I expected but definitly nothing to drive around with at night. lol. The halos are actually CCFL halos for a Buick Lacrosse I think and they just happened to be the perfect sizes to put in the headlight and the fog light. I can get you some pics of the light output when I take some more.
