Its a big electrical upgrade and is probably the most expensive upgrade out of the three .

I am really excited for tomorrow. I will hopefully be picking it up after school.

My day is going to feel so long lol.

Will post some pictures once its installed.

Alright guys the time has come and I finally have the Double Din installed. Its a Pioneer AVH-P2400BT

I am loving it so far and I also have the XM receiver, along with all my other adapters. I lost the date and time on the DIC but that does not bother me that much and the date and time show up on the touch screen.

Guess what arrived in the mail.

I know I am going to bombarded with "should have made your own" or "waste of money should have made it yourself"

This is what I wanted for my car so be it. Plus it looks awesome and K and N makes awesome intakes.

Plus, its a Christmas present and I have to wait to have it installed. Although I might get it earlier but I can wait abit. To make you guys happy, yes I will be doing it myself with some assistance from a mechanic that my dad knows. He will help me put in the intake and has all the tools that I dont.

Who knows? Maybe I will learn a thing about working on my car and in the future actually do stuff like this myself without taking it somewhere else.

That will honestly take you 5 minutes to install.

    Its very straight forward.

Youll have no problem putting that on.

One word of advise on the K&N. Don't over oil the filter. The oil pass through can contaminate the MAF with oil. This tends to mess up the MAF input to the PCM.

We used to run K&N filters on the race engines until my engine builder showed me the dyno numbers. I got more HP out of a 4" paper WIX filter. The inside of the engines didn't show anymore wear when the engines were tore down for rebuild. 700+HP Dirt Late Model engines aint cheap so trust me when I say that there is no real performance gain running a K&N but on a street car, they have a certain cosmetic appeal over a standard air box.

Sweet ride ya have there. Interior is awesome.

Thanks man. I think the filter is pre-oiled and K and N tests these filters with multiple MAF for optimal performance.

yes but eventually you'll need to re-oil it and that is where the tricky part is.

    optimal performance. lol.

Brandon is dead on. The filter itself works. Its the human side that jacks it up and wrecks its performance

    "Optimal Performance" I know XD

But I am sure what you know what they mean like its MAF safe.

I cannot wait for the whine

I might get like 1-5 hp but it looks cool and opens the supercharger up. They claim 16HP gain from "dyno" tests but I doubt it. We will see. But I am sure I will notice a some sort of difference.
