I ended up t-boning some old asian guy. He was making an illegal left turn coming from the opposite way and the truck that was next to me on the left lane beside me was obstructing my view of the guy's car until it was too late. By the time I saw the asian guy pulling out from in front of that truck, I had less than a car length to try and stop, plus it was raining that day so yea. Didn't happen. Wasn't my fault though, insurance faulted the other party and is paying for all my repairs. So I can't complain too much.
You might end up with a bumper cover missing the Pontiac lettering, avoid that if you can. Glad to see the car is not written off as this will cost a bundle to fix.
So looks like the SE lip is not going to be covered. Insurance says that it is considered aftermarket...is this true? Even if it's bought from the dealership? I'd like to fight the adjuster on it if it's possible cuz otherwise, I might be selling the lip as is. It's in pretty rough shape. Would it even be worth trying to sell?
It's a factory equipped option... No they should be replacing that too.
So I should fight the adjuster on it?
Whats this about aftermarket? When I got in my accident it bent my headers and they gave me 225 bucks to replace them....
What's the part number for the SE front lip?
Nvm. I found the part #. I'm going to be calling him here in a few minutes.
