    NOPE!

I officially bought the car I've been wanting for years, a 2006 Evo IX MR. I absolutely love every minute of driving it, couldn't be happier. It's certainly not as fast as the balt from a roll, but that will change. it already feels like it handles better. So far it's 100% stock. OEM hids are very nice to have, but I'll probably be getting a set of new Osram CBI bulbs in the future (best bulbs on the market). I love that I can adjust headlight height from inside the car. Future plans include JDM rear bumper, Buschur racing exhaust, Tint, coilovers, and some set of nice 18" wheels, unsure which ones yet. Snow tires will be going on in a few weeks.

So I traded in both the cobalt and Grand prix. DDing the hell out of this now. I'd like to start fresh with a new thread so if the mods would be so graceous could you either lock or delete the other thread?

Just be careful if you launch it. The transfer cases in those things are expensive as hell.

It's got 65000 miles. I got it from a dealership in NC for 23,000, got it delivered for free, and had 6000 equity between my two cars, so the loan is only for 17k. And insurance is cheaper on this than the cobalt, so I end up paying about the same for this a month as I did for the cobalt.

Insurance is cheaper because of the AWD.

The only thing I don't like is that I haven't seen it in person yet! Didn't knwo the Evo had manually adjustable HIDs, I thought they were auto-leveling (the STi has manually adjustable OEM HIDs as well).

So when are we doing a photoshoot?

    soon... soon...

I still say we should do one once we get some snow.

I've never been so excited for it to snow in my live. Might actually enjoy snow now.

just keep in mind that the front wheels are pulling you, ive had friends almost totaled there awd cars just because they were used to rwd, when you start to slide the car, it will push the rear and pull the front what ever way the wheels are turned. once you get used to how it all works, you'll have a blast, be careful at first till you get the full feel, don't want to wind up like a hippo on wet leaves lol, sorry hippo machine, i couldn't resist!
