Well it's been a while. STi is still down, the build has gotten to be pretty expensive/extensive and I'm having to space my purchases out. I dropped the motor off to my builder though so that's rolling. Car might be on the road in May. Who knows. So just as a head count, here's an update on what I currently have: 1997 Impreza 2.2 coupe 216K miles and going strong 2001 2.5RS blown head gasket/bad body, picked it up for parts but it's fun to piss around in as well, especially in the woods. Runs great and doesn't overheat (external coolant leak from the heads). I'm scrapping it soon. 2002 WRX (just got this on the road this past weekend). 70500 miles on the body, 150 miles on the rebuilt 5 speed, 20K on rebuilt motor. My dad bought this one with a bad motor when the Saabaru got totaled, he has since bought a 2014 WRX and picked this up from him. I pulled the rebuilt motor out of the Saabaru thursday night, the bad motor out of this one on friday night, and put the good motor in saturday-sunday. It has an Intake/exhaust/tune, it's the new DD, the coupe is going up for sale. 2005 STi, more on that in a bit 2007 2.5i autotragic, I picked this up in February for my fiancee, she likes it. So yeah, I own a few Subarus. Bugeye motor swapping:Bugeye done:

Yeah it's a real build. Should be in the 400-450WHP range, the internals I've chosen would handle a lot more than that though. For some reason the build list got turned into a paragraph instead of a list so it's harder to read. Not really leaving anything untouched though.

Dat White Pearl
That is the best color for those cars...hell any white pearl makes any car look good.
Don't scrap the other one! I'll buy it![]()
Here's my build thread on nastycock. I don't think you have to be a member to view it. If you do, let me know and I'll try to figure out another way to make it available to anyone who wants to follow it. Spacing gets all messed up when I try to post it here even if I set the spacing manually. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2618416
Looks good so far, I will follow it.
Picture quality isn't that great, but I got the header and turbo hotside back from Swaintech. The White Lightning coating is nothing like I expected it to be, I figured it would be smooth. It's textured and almost metallic. Hopefully it holds up and works as well as I've heard it does.![]()

More pictures in the imgur album. heads looks purdy.
The build is basically at a stand still for now. We've looked at 25 or so houses and I'm just banking everything for a down payment at this point. The only things left to buy are the fuel system parts, lines, fittings, and a few other little things. The car may or may not be done this year. No sense in rushing it at this point though.
