Hello My Friends. Been a bit bz. Started a new job last week. Upgraded from a School Bus Driver/Tech to a Shop Manager of a Charter Bus Company. Huge boost in pay and double the hours lol.
Ordered a bunch of things for the GTP. Headers, plugs, Pulley, stereo and speakers all around.
Test drove a 2000 GTP for the wife. Bad CV joint, steering wheel crooked, Headlights held on with Plumbers tape, slight slight catalytic convertor smell and it didn't pull like mine does so assuming Cat was going bad. Anyways Dealership wanted 2299 for it. I offered 1800 cash they hem hawed around to the point i said kiss my ass and walked away.
Before leaving town, found a 1998 GT with heated leather seats (Dr suggest would be great for my wife's back). As a bonus it had a HUD. I understand these things are common in a GTP but much less so in a GT. Anyways, looked great, ran great..... private party wanted $2300. I offered $2000 and she accepted. Her dad bought it brand new off the line in 1998 and she got it 4 yrs ago.
No ABS light....no TCS light....no engine light. Runs very smooth, shifts like butter.
