gaskets leak..but they didn't cause the fires. The close proximity exhaust shield is the only thing I see them changing that isn't on every other body style 3800, that no recalls ever happened on.

I thought it had something to do with the spark plug covers. I had my car recalled and that is all they replaced on mine.Originally Posted by BillBoost37
