putting a smaller pulley on the supercharger wont make it get better gas mileage. leaving the stock size pulley on will keep the supercharger spinning at its most efficient range.

And to be serious here, the supercharged is "vented" or "not working" when you are just cruising on the freeway.

It doesnt matter how fast the pulley is spinning, the BBV still works the same. It just bleeds everything off untill you are past 0in/hgs on the MAP.

A supercharger works by forcing more air into the engine. There are two screw-type objects in the supercharger housing that are rotated by a pulley, just like a water pump or A/C compressor. The screws spin quicker as the engine RPM's increase, compressing the air going into the engine. Since this air is compressed more than normal, more air is allowed into the engine, resulting in more power.

But also means more fuel is being forced in.

fuel is injected right into the heads/cylinder. we dont have a carb on top of the blower.

no big stock pulley will just spin it slower thus less heat being generated by the supercharger. however smaller pulley does change the effeciency of the supercharger yes.
