help?
Sure will, i had it on there for a long time until recently.
good saved me 25 bucks thanks man ha
do you really notice alot more power with the 3.4? yes i have supporting mods
It's definitely a boost in power that is easily felt. What made me notice it is being able to stomp on it at 35-40 mph and burn rubber with traction control ON (compared to like 15-25 stock). Also being able to chirp second gear is a good sign too. I can't really say much about it, because the day i took delivery of my car it wasn't licensed and i mashed it once, it was stock then. By the end of that night i had put on my 4" FWI, plugs, and TB spacer. And in another week i had the DP on, t-stat, and 3.4 setup. The 3.4 setup, when modded correctly with 0* KR, like my setup, is a night and day comparison to a stock vehicle.
Also , pizzi22 is correct. It will work, but i also made the switch to a tighter belt. If you want to use your stock one and don't want to fork over the cash, buy an oversized tensioner.
well...there may be enough travel in the tensioner for the 3.4" pulley however it may not be tight and i'd highly recommend a different belt for a 3.4" pulley to prevent any slippage and for best performance. That's what i did (4060660) that is the size for a serpentine belt.
You need a tighter belt to make sure it won't slip. I'd also replace the tensioner pulley with a 3.5" pulley too (verses the stock 3.0")...
i dont want to mod any other pulleys except my 3.4 blower pulley what belt do u guys recoomend thanks i get 1 for free from autozone "rewards 20 dollar credit" lol if you have a part number id appreciate it thanks.
Gatorbacks suck. Get a stock Gates replacement. Gatorbacks stretch. And FWIW...There is a guy here running a 3.2" belt on a 3.4" setup and that car rapes SSIC'd cars...hmmm...I wonder

Agreed.
The stock belt is fine, just use it and if you notice some belt slippage then go with the oversized tensioner or a smaller belt.
I've been running the stock belt on my 3.4 setup for awhile now and haven't noticed any belt slip at all...
Get the Gatorback belt from autozone. 4060660. that is the belt size. it's 66". it's for a 3.4" pulley
thats what i thought pizzi but isnt that the stock belt size now?? thanks man
The 4060660 belt fits a 3.25-3.5 pulley. The stock belt ends in 060667.
ok cool 22 bucks for the gatorback at AZ for the 660 belt thanks alot man![]()
Correction it may end in 663. Anyhow, all the belt sizes are listed on Goodyears website.
No problem 660 is the way to go. I got the same belt with the 3.4 zzp mps also. No slip.
I had slight belt slip with the stock belt on my 3.4. Switched to the 660 and no more slip.
