since i removed the stock airbox and slapped a 9 inch cone spectre filter on , my fuel mileage has increased over 1 mile per gallon.

Maybe because your stock air filter was dirty as hell..

nope ...put a brand new one in before i put the car on the road. along with replacing every fluid and filter , and plugs and wires.
