starter is fine. I had it taken up to the shop 4 days ago because it wouldnt start. and thats when the cps was changed. Then computer was reading a bunch of misfire is cylnder 6 so changed coil pac. while on computer running after that was running good took the computer off started misfiring so left car at shop. then that was when ignition module was changed. It was running perfectly and properly when computer diagnostic done after that. took car home ran fine til next morning when to start. doing the same thing it was when i took it to the shop. it will turn over just wont fire. if keep key turn trying to start it will backfire sounding like a shot gun. I will try to get a video up of what sounding like or doing.

yeah had that happen to me months ago put oil in the car and it started on fire. Manifolds get way to hot. I was lucky that i was there went it started before it had the chance to ruin my car. There is a recall to have the spark plug wires to be moved out of harms way

Well cylinder 3 and 6 keep missing. Coming to the conclusion its a wiring harness. Does anybody have a clue which one it could be?

I would check to make sure you have spark from the 3 & 6 coil pack, from both posts. Then if thats fine, see if you have power/signal at the injector plugs. Im slowly learning and taking a shot in the dark here but is it possible too that coolant is leaking into those cylinders?

Seems like its not getting fuel or enough fuel. Spray starter fluid into tb see if it starts, maybe clogged fuel filter, bad pump, fuel.pressure regulator.

key to run, bang on the gas tank bottom, then crank it again, if it fires up the pump is dead.

Randomly not wanting to start sometimes but starting other times is the most common symptom of a failing fuel pump.

you may have water in your lines if its when cold only. try testing fuel pressure when it wont fire up.

What Scott is saying is ... diagnose this properly and you will find yourself coming to one of two conclusions when it won't start.

Here's the only two things that are happening:
    No spark
    No fuel

Once you know which one is the case, then determining what is causing it becomes a lot easier.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
