So ive been driving my car that i recently got done building. And im getting really bad gas mileage its like 13.2 miles to the gal. I put new wires and spark plugs when i rebuilt the engine. The car has headers and only has one oxygen sensor that i believe its the upstream. Would it be safe to say that my oxygen sensor is going bad? I got a code for it in the first day it say something about high voltage but i deleted it and never came back

Maybe saying what car you have, what engine, what mods, etc., etc... Would help!

My 73' Grand Am (400cui, 400turbohydramatic, 3.73's) used to get 8 mpg and that was pretty good! : )

Oh my bad its a 98 gtp. 3.5 pulley, headers, magnaflows, northstart throttle body with cold air intake. I know that the computer has been tuned before because it does not have a limiter and my evap system has been deleted and i have no code

It also seems like it had bigger injectors because you can see they cut out a bit of the valve covers where the injectors go. But it has the originals right now.
