Your mileage sounds about right. I average between 15-17 mpg in the city.

I'd start with the 02 sensor (denso), get it from sparkplugs.com, it's a lot cheaper than your local parts store and will be better quality. When is the last time you did a tune-up? Plugs/wires will play a big part in MPG depending on how old yours are, if you don't know the last time they've been replaced it's probably not a bad idea.

My GTP gets 22 mpg in the same driving conditions (to work & back in city, same route every day) vs. my '01 Suburbans 18.5 mpg. I do drive like an old man, but I drive all my vehicles the same.

a top swap is when you take the parts you need from a gtp and put it in a gt (naturally aspirated) engine to supercharge it.

Huh? You think you could tell me what KR is and why it's bad? Also, what size pulley you think I could run with an intake and ubend delete?

My 140k 1996 olds 98 gets about 24-25mpg to and from work with city-highway like driving a/c off...some stoplights but majority of the trip i can maintain 55mph to keep it locked into overdrive.

Last road trip i did with it i made 27-29mpg interstate rolling at 80mph with a/c on...

One before that i was moving and had the car loaded with about 1200lbs and was getting about the same mileage.....car loves the interstate
