the 3800 in my opinion sounds best with a good quality muffler or a few other add ons here and there, if you want too make a difference do a U bend delete... if you compleetly delete the Resonator and Muffler it does not sound deep or thoaty it makes it sound raspy and loud... the exact opposite of what you want! additionally there will be no power gains that will effect the vehicle in any positive way...Originally Posted by Ahaas96
the only time major exhaust modifications such as straight pipes or what have you have any positive effect on performance is when there are very extensive modifications done too a engine where the airflow increases greatly where the exhaust becomes a hindrance too the engines performance... then straight pypes will have positive effects but only in the instance in the demand of needed exhaust flow...
otherwise all you will succeed in doing is making yourself look like a fool and ticking off your neighbors...
