replaced batt, checked all fuses, replaced fuel pump, checked the power at fuel pump connector with a test light it seems to be getting good power, but I still cant hear the new pump turn on... anyone know where to find an online manual? any tips on how to get it to fire? car was fine the other day, it died on in the middle of traffic on the way to the store, it cranks and cranks I pulled one of the fuel lines off and tried to crank to see if fuel would squirt out but nothing, those line are full of fuel tho, ANY help would not go unappreciated.

So you said the fuel pump won't run, but you have power at the connector going to the tank?

yes there is power at the fuel pump connector but it wont run there is also plenty of gas in the tank, I'm trying to look for open wires or loose connections as I said the battery is brand new thats the first thing I replaced, I have no idea where the crank sensor is located or how to test it I am still searching for a manual for the vehicle the engine cover says 3800 series II

Your crank sensor is fine then. He was skimming and didn't see that it was strictly fuel related. I think you need to go back in the tank and check the connections that goes to the pump, and test it out of the car is necessary. Are you getting the full 12v? If using a test light, it could come on but dim, indicating high resistance.

retested the connection yesterday and as usual the test light is nice and birght, my multimeter is missing so I will have to wait until I get a little more cash to buy a new one to test how much juice its getting. could it be the fuel pump relay?

Pull the assembly out of the tank and be sure it didn't get disconnected on the module itself.

Why not release your fuel pressure? Then turn the key to see if it rebuilds?

Well if normal power(full voltage) is making its way to the pump connector, then everything before that is fine. It's only supposed to cycle for 2 seconds when turning the key, keep that in mind. If that checks out you need to see why power is not getting to the pump itself. Like Twizted said, make sure the connections are there and working. It sounds like that's where the issue is.

Probably because hes not getting enough pressure to bleed off in the first place.. he stated he had fuel in the lines but no pressure was present.
