Not worth the $500+ for labor. I can get a package deal that includes cams and rockers and the labor will total $900. So I will get them but not as a stand alone due to the high labor charge.

He did tell that I would need a new trans after awhile if this is a daily driver or I do a lot of racing, but its neither I take it out once a week and race it maybe 3 times a year. I am going to get the headers, cams, rockers, and the pulley system, plugs, and pcm done all at once. I might next year go with a turbo and upgraded trans. If I could do the work I would but I have no place to work on a car or the right tools. I did all the inside and exterior mods but that **** is easy.

I think you need to take a step back and actually set some goals for the car.

Sounds like a lot of wasted money if ypi go turbo next year(can't use the headers or smaller pulley with turbo)
And you only have one cam

What why? My goal is to increase the HP by 75 to start and will see where it goes from there, but you would have to admit money aside a turbo would be bad ass.

yep turbo would be awesome, but turbo cannot be attached to headers,so you're going to buy new headers pay for the install the year later have to pay someone to take them off, big waste of money

You really need to set a goal for your car...one minute you want a basic set up, next you want to make power on the sc, then next you want to turbo. Take a step back and figure out what you want and research on what mods can get you there...you're all over the place right now.

You push a strong argument against headers haha you now have me debating it again.

Do what you want. Not what ppl on the internet want you to do.
But headers are not a direct fit. They require adjustments. My crossover needed to be bent to fit. Firewall smashed in so o2 sensor would fit, need a reducer if you want to use stock cat, and need better clamps.

See I didn't know that. Guess I should reevaluate everything. I have the feeling a turbo might be more problems than it's worth if I end up blowing out my trans or even worse the pistons.

Ever turbo a tranverse mounted 3800?

The headers would never fit with a turbo, and besides you can't turn the rear header upside down. Thus the reason for 2 powerlogs and turbo crossover pipe and all that jazz.

Doing a STS kit is out of the question here, would just be dumb.

You can do headers on a transverse mount turbo 3800... but get ready to shell out some cash to have a custom built set.
