Well, worse case scenario I guess is the piston ring so I'll have the motor pulled and then check on the availability/price of another motor vs. taking this one to a machine shop to have rebuilt. I'll pull all the goodies ,that I just got done installing LOL, off of this engine. Either way, I'll have a motor minus the top end ready for you. I am going to shoot for the first week in Nov., to coincide with my vacation. Same question as to Bill, would you want the engine in the car to rebuild top end or out of it? Also, do you tune? if so, then I may upgrade the cam, rockers, and springs. I have an Overkill PCM that I just recieved but it isn't tuned for an aftermarket cam.
