Hey all, just bought a 97 GTP sedan. Feels like I'm opening the proverbial can of worms with the couple problems I knew about and the three new ones I found driving the car home. Needless to say, I'll probably be on here a lot ha. I'm from Indiana btw.

Thanks, already reconsidering my decision to buy the GP lol. Going to be a while before I can do any kind of performance mods.

    Thanks,

Yeah, there were several things I knew about buying it:
    front struts
    A/C
brakes and rotors (on the rear)
    HUD not working
    cracked windshield

All of these I figure I can handle doing myself but on the drive home and not on either of the two test drives I took:
Sound from front passenger wheel(apparently might be brakes but we'll see)

when car primes in Acc. position the fuel pump never stops running. I also smelled gas but with the pump doing that that may be the issue with the gas smell as well. I thought it might be the fuel pump relay but it wasn't so not sure where to go from here on that.

So basically it seems like every time I go out to start doing some work on it, I find something new that needs taken care of. Not to mention the guy I bought it from screwed up the title and I'm having to try to take care of that too ha.
