I enjoyed it, although it made me a bit dizzy from it being entirely handicam footage.

I just saw Cloverfield last night. I thought it was intelligent and surprising, but it made me nauseous for the rest of the night.
    My warning to all:
DO NOT EAT OR DRINK WHILE WATCHING THIS MOVIE!
I heard three separate people vomit while watching it from the camera shaking and gore combination.
    Signatures suck!

    [write-up on zombies]

See, here's where people get pissed off at me:
They're NOT ZOMBIES! Zombies are slow moving, unintelligent, re-animated corpses. The "creatures" in I Am Legend were just humans that, through the help of a virus, had gone through a total de-evolution of their social and intelligence skills. NOT ZOMBIES!

Also, off topic, one of my favorite movie series is the 28 Days Later/28 Weeks Later combo, but I hear them being called zombies also. The easiest way of breaking it down without ruining the movies is this: A VIRUS is spreading through the people in the movies that causes intense rage and bloodlust, similar to giving a rabid wolf Methamphetamine. It does NOT turn them into mindless re-animated corpses.

The best way to put it is this:
    ZOMBIE MOVIES:
    Night of the Living Dead
    Dawn of the Dead
    Day of the Dead
    Shaun of the Dead (LOLOLOLOLOL)
    Land of the Dead

    Virus-related (NOT ZOMBIES):
    28 Days Later
    28 Weeks Later
The Resident Evil series (yes, I have heard them called zombies. chut up.)
    I Am Legend

    Other:
    Army of Darkness
    The Evil Dead

    [/write-up on zombies]
    Signatures suck!

    Cloverfield is F*CKING AWESOME!!

Go see it right now. I mean NOW, not next weekend, when the movie's been ruined by every two-bit piece of sh*t entertainment show blabbing about it.

If you get motion sick, sit towards the back. That way you can see the rest of the theater in your peripheral vision. That should help some.

I seen a thread on my best buy employees only forum today, called the water cooler; and there is two threads on this movie. one w/ reviews/spoilers for this movie and another w/ a debate about who would win in a fight chuck norris or the monster. haha.

Honestly...I didn't care for the movie that much! Good effects, etc. but as for the whole alien thing they really could have been better thought out!

Saw it last night. For what people let on, I was pretty impressed. I gotta admit that listening to some people complain about it, I didn't have very high expectations. But all in all it's a pretty good flick.

I thought it said "what now?" at the end. What I love about the movie is that nothing is answered, so you leave just as uninformed as you went into it which is pretty much what the characters know. Definitely sit towards the back. And don't eat beforehand.

I thought it wasn't that bad of a movie. Funny in some parts.

The theater that we were in was "shady" at best, so I didn't stay around after the credits.
