I had to replace the cv axle and when I'm trying to put everything back. The shock is to low to put the 2 bolts through it. I've tried everything I can think of. I've tried prying it up and that doesn't work. I've tried using a strut spring compressor and that only compressed the springs and not the strut.

What do you guys think I should do?

pull the lca and knuckle down till it lines up, then push together.

for sure, (good eye) slide the axle back in the hub first ,then push the lca down and install the strut.
