    There wasn't an extra plug in my 97 either. I just followed the link and info from the beginning of this thread/post. It helped a great deal as it listed what wires go where. I had it installed in my car rather quickly. Btw you will need to run an extra wire over to your instrument cluster. What I did is cut off one of the old pins from the old connector from the analog dic, you'll simply slide it back into place on your instrument cluster connector in location C1-F. The wire you need to run from your digital dic is the purple/white wire marked B-10 on the connector from your digital dic harness.
