FoSho.. Sure I approve, but would pull the axles before lifting. I pop the ball joint with a huge prybar to keep from hurting the boot of the joint. Pull the axles (remember to drain fluids first) then I like to unbolt the master cylinder and flop it on the strut tower w/o disconnecting the brake lines from it. This gives you a bit more room to pull stuff out.
