No o ring at bottom but one at top. uploading pic
AutoZone has oil pressure sending sockets so I won't need those channel pliers
no kidding, now get it on the car. the axles in the way, and so is the sway bar when it comes time to turn a open end wrench. pliers are the easy way.
dont you trust me at this point?????
Ok figured it out. correct part but somehow I didn't put the black rubber gasket back on the pcv. when I was out the junkyard I saw it so I just took one off from the junkyard and out the gasket on mine and now the crying went away and air sucking through dipstick hole
Also I got a MAF from the junkyard actually 4 of them for free. Cleaned it up and installed it so the light should be going off soon for good
Scotty it's running like a champ fast firm shifts. Fun to drive now thanks to you alll. I made another thread about the slipping of trans few months ago.Shops was saying trans bad or need to be rebuilt.. lol my girl and I are happy..
Never new the Maf would cause slipping of trans but it makes sense now as Maf control engine load etc...
Fix it for free since I got 3 Maf for free. well I paid for Maf cleaner and bought a new air filter and pcv. so I spent maybe $30
Beat a 2001 mustang at take off. they followed me and asked what I did to my car and I told them stock lol. I got them at take off.
Transsmission thread

the fix was the MAF for anybody that looks up this thread
Still got to fix the oil sensor but I'll wait for that next week when I got time but only $10 part
kinda funny thing is you might not have til next week...... if its leaking now, its gonna blow soon. SO much easier to take it out go to the hardware store get a plug and put the plug in and go about your life WORRY free. OR save money for a engine replacement if it blows out
yea really I was lucky or whatever been driving the car without no oil for 1 week last month and it's been good still riding smooth. and when I say no oil I mean none like less them a quart. I notice it didn't have oil but I thought to myself in just changed the oil 2 weeks ago can't be and kept driving it for a week.
but I don't think it's going to blow the sensor if it does I will change it but I will monitor the oil daily. I might change the sensor tommorow if I have time
wifey said she don't want a plug because she wants to know when something is wrong and want to see the light ...😏😏?????
Ok Scotty so to change the sensor I take off the tire, turn wheel to the left.
now will pliers or vice grips work or will I need those special pliers?
Easy
