Our 240,000 mile GT has croaked it's fuel pump, I confirmed no pressure, then probed the power supply, power came on for 2 seconds to prime and no pump action. Removed module, applied 12 volts to the ground pin and the grey power in pin, nada!

Am I better off getting the complete module or separating the pump from it?

I would Just replace the pump because everything else is still good like the canister and level sensor which they charge like 200 or so bucks for a complete unit.

Personally.. with the senders being known to fail and it being a billion miles old. I'd probably bite the bullet and replace both pump and sender or whole can.

Been there...tooo many times when you do one and having disturbed the other causes you to go back in a week later.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I have found that individual pumps are not easy to come by. Looks like a whole module is going in. Thanks.

Well after comparison shopping, I ended up finding that Autozone had the best non internet price on a Delphi, and I had forty bucks credit on my Autozone rewards card. They do not stock it but ordered it in to the store for me with no shipping. I'll have it in a couple days. Nowwwww, the AC compressor I had done at a GM dealer started sounding like a rock crusher and I unhooked the clutch. Dug out my receipt, yeah it's been years and over 100000 miles on it but theoretically it is lifetime warrantied so I should be able to drive in to the dealer and get it done gratis!
