    there is a trim panel that rests near the windshield that covers the HUD module. take that panel off, its all plastic that runs across the dashboard, carefully remove from one side to the other popping out one retainer at a time. when its off you will see the HUD module, disconnect the wiring harness to it and the 2 screws holding it place. lift it up and out.

    some advice and not to sound like a prick at all, but if your having issues with the trim piece and are scared to mess anything up, you might not want to attempt this procedure.
