    Hello all,

Back when I had my 2000 Camaro SS, I wanted a HUD. So I built one. I'm making all the plans free for anyone to use. It's not an overnight DIY project; you need some serious skill to make one of these. But, I'd rather "give it to the people" than have it go to waste.

It should work with almost any 1996 and later GM car (any VPW based communications protocol).

Here's the site with all the info and downloads. Please share it with your friends.

    Overview (E-HUD)

    Have fun.

    Projecting at night.

    All display elements on.

    This is insanely cool.
Opensource hardware projects are where it's at. I've put together a few things I've come across but nothing quite this complex. I'm not so sure that I'll take up this project anytime soon, but it sure is tempting.

Thank you for releasing this to the community. It's stellar to see information (that someone's poured hundreds (thousands?) of hours into shared with the world.
