so anyways, i took all apart and noticed there was a lot of dust on the lense, so i wiped it clean, then i noticed that the pin connection ( not the red 2 pin, the longer main connection) was loose and almost pulled out on one side. so i reconnected it fully and put it back together to see if that did anything and ...... yes it did, the damn display was as bright as the sun much brighter than ive ever seen a HUD be. so i took it for a drive ( about 120 miles round trip ) and it stayed lit up and bright as hell. i think im all fixed up but only time will tell
