Ok this one just started about a week ago. After I start my engine some time my dash, A/C and radio would go off for a sec and the back on but the engine stays running. This might happen 1 or 2 time then that’s it. It has happened in the morning and in the afternoon. I have wiggled the ignition key to see if it might be the issue but nothing happens. The other issue is yesterday I was in the parking lot and I put the Trans in neutral and revd the engine. I then noticed the MPH on the HUD went up also don’t know if the speedo does the same because it’s not working right nether. I did a search typing speedo and RPM but I can’t find anything. So any info would be great.

for the MPH on your hud going up thats a plug no connected I was able to force mine to that when I was changing the column and all it was a ground not pluged in. You may have to look at your grounds to see if they are clean and rust free.

yeah when i was fixing my column i had to unplug the column and 2 grounds that use a bolt from the column that hook up with a 13mm bolt. that bolt is connected to a magnesium plate but the grounds are steel and will rust sad part is that they are just about your break pedal behind the cover.

first off it could be the speed sensor in the tranny that is causing that buy giving a false pulse count. or it could be your cluster is worn out. i would try the sensor because its cheaper and just a few mins of your time lol.

Ok before i could check my connection I noticed it would only happen when I would turn my AC on to the setting 1-4 but when I turned it to 5 everything came back on. So Im lost now.... Ill try and get a video today for better understanding of the issue.

The ignition key on these isn't as directly connected as it seems... It sounds like the power in the switch is starting to fail.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Unfortunately it's very tough to diagnose these at times. BackinBlack did a great write up on bypassing the ignition switch for power on CGP. Since it's fairly straight forward and only requires a relay and some time, it might be a good first step to try and diagnose.

It's there a control box that send power to the A/C, heated seats and the boost gage?
