2000 GT coupe
i have read about the infamous heater resistor issues. mine is a bit different.
- all levels blow as they should, from the lowest to full blast. you can hear the air moving. However, almost no air comes from the dash vents( when set to it of course). from the floor you can feel a little and front windshield more so. So it seems to be a clog or blockage in the dash right?
Not quite, if i switch to AC all of a sudden wham you get hit in the face with a wall of air from the dash vents.
another kicker i noticed the other day with my heat on full blast, i opened my glove box and could feel air coming from in there. So im thinking there is a blockage in the space where the heater core is contained?
Now ive worked on jeeps, and replaced a heater core on a ranger. But im no mechanic by far. i have my suspicions, but any one else have a similar issue or any thought that would say otherwise?
